Included in this edition of The Scoop are a Letter from the President regarding the success of our recent Open Houses and the fact that we are now going to be hosting them once a week (on alternating Saturdays and Sundays); an article about Aioli, a beautiful seven-year-old Husky in need of a forever home; an article about Sugar and Plum, two very shy cats who had been at the shelter for almost three years before Emily and Felipe adopted them in June; and an article about Animal Haven volunteer Lynn Persico who spends lots of time with the shelter’s dogs, walking and playing with them severals days a week and showing the dogs to potential adopters during our Open Houses.
