Scarlett Pawhanson

Scarlet is doing great. It took a while for her to get comfortable in her new surroundings. I patiently waited for her to come out of her shell. I kept that name because I got used to calling her that the first 2 weeks. I also call her “Scarly” and “Scarlina”. She is always by my side and follows me around everywhere. She still is not used to visitors and will hide under the couch anytime someone comes over though. There are no other pets here. Sometimes I wish she had a friend because she always wants to play, but I was told she doesn’t like other cats. She brings me her ball and wants me to throw it (see photo) and she will bring it back. She loves looking out the window and playing with her many toys. She has gained weight (she was so skinny!) and weighs about 10 pounds. All in all, we are both very happy and I love her to death.
