Piper

Grasshopper’s new name is Piper. She’s happy, changing & getting big. Loves her little corkscrew/mini slinky toys & many others. The window & hammock are also a fave. Lots of zoomies & squeaks. She’s adjusting more each day. She just started sleeping at the foot of the bed & standing on me to wake me up in the morning. My kitty alarm clock. She’s quite humorous. 

There are no other animals here. It took a minute to get used to being by herself & everything being hers. 

Around Thanksgiving, she decided she wanted to be a pescatarian. She wouldn’t eat any food that was chicken or turkey. I took the food brand suggestions that you guys gave me and tried a few new brands of tuna & salmon dry & wet food. So far Weruva, Applaws & occasionally Fancy feast wet food are a hit. Still working on the dry food. She’ll eat it, but usually not all of it. Otherwise she’s healthy, energetic, playful & inquisitive. Sometimes she’s still a bit skittish, but slowly growing out of that. Demands petting when I get up & before bed. She also plays fetch. 

I think she & I are doing well. I’m enjoying her! 

She hates taking pics, so sometimes I bribe her with treats lol!
