Pepper

“Hyena” is doing GREAT! We kept her original name “Pepper” because I just thought it would be easier for her. She is adjusting well. We took her to a basic obedience class, not because we had any behavioral problems but to help with bonding and trust. She did really well and we learned that she is very food motivated! I can see that she may have a tendency to gain weight. We want to keep her at a healthy weight and continue to feed her the same food in the amount that you recommended.  The vet said she looked good.  Pepper has had a very active summer as we have traveled to Maine to visit friends and to New York to go hiking. She loves car rides and is a dream in the car. Pepper loves her ball and we play daily in the backyard. She loves to go places with us and does really well in public venues. We do not have other pets so she gets a lot of attention.  

We have not found her to have a sensitive stomach as we were told but, I am keeping her on the Science Diet Sensitive Stomach dog food that she was on in the shelter…just in case.

Pepper has become a very special family member and we look forward to caring for her and sharing our life with her.  We absolutely love her!!
