Okami

Okami (formerly Mayo) is doing so wonderfully. It took about 2 days for her to bond with me and listens fantastically. We really feel like we have lucked out on such a great dog/husky and she is the envy of the neighborhood as everyone just loves her. Though she’s shy with people (especially adults) she loves little kids. Only a couple accidents in the house till we got our groove. She wants so badly to be everyone’s friend but the cats are still getting used to her. Though our bunny Scout loves her and shows no fear. She gives him hugs and kisses and wants to be near him but we’re still working on complete trust. They say it takes 3 months for the dog to be “yours” but I can’t imagine it getting better. We love her dearly.
