Leland

Sprout’s name is now Leland.

He has fully adjusted to his new home and loves his own personal bed in his crate, and his spot on the couch. There are no other pets in the house but he has met his doggie cousin and they get along great. He has been our personal guard dog from the very first week, he lets you know if anyone or thing is in the yard and is not afraid to wake up the whole house which is good! While he is a sassy teenager now, he went through strict training when he first came home and continues to improve daily on advanced teachings like off leach recall and impulse control. We often forget how young he is, considering he still gains 5lbs a week on average and gets bigger and faster every day. We are not sure his breed, we plan on getting a DNA test one day, but overall he seems to be a German shepherd and maybe a mastiff mix.
