Hades and Persephone

I have renamed Dash to Hades and Santorini to Persephone. Hades was super duper shy at first. He hid in the bathroom for the first 3 weeks and now he’s only in there when he needs alone time. Persephone had had a dental procedure and an infection in her paw when I adopted her. She’s doing much better with her mouth. Her paw still has some signs of infection but between meds and cleaning she is doing better. She took over the cat tree instantly and had to help Hades come out of his shell a bit to come and explore the rest of the apartment. They spend a lot of time together cuddling and napping. I’ve learned that Hades is a chatterbox, he loves to have little conversations whether telling me that he wants pets or he’s talking to Persephone. Their chirps together are precious and I wish I had video of it. While he is still skittish and jumpy, Hades loves the attention and love he gets. Persephone is still a bit hesitant around me because of having to give her meds and touch her feet to clean them so much. I’ve been sure to give her treats and lots of affection and she appreciates it. She’s still scared that every time I approach her, it’s time for torture lol.
