Gorgonzola “Zola”

Guava’s new name is Gorgonzola (Zola for short) 

She is adjusting well and is very attached to both me and my wife. She has adjusted very well to being crated for part of the day. She also has enjoyed a pretty structured routine of walks, training and play! 

We have two cats who are adjusting well to her too! They are all getting along pretty well and are bonding over their shared love for treats. We do some treat circles every so often, which we have found has made them all more calm around each other. They also commiserate on teeth brushing and nail trimming nights and check in on each other! 

Zola does not have any real eating issues, but at times she just doesn’t feel like eating her full meal. Zero-Sodium Chicken broth and shredded cheese usually do the trick to get her to eat when she is picky.

She really is a fantastic dog, and a great addition to our family. As soon as  she came home, she did one quick lap around the house and then jumped in the couch for a snuggle! She has proven to be quite a couch potato,  but is equally eager to go outside for a walk or play!
