Elita and Chewie

We love them! Orca’s name is now Elita, and Dolphin is Chewie. They adjusted very well to their new home and family. We were actually impressed with how quickly they adjusted. They’re very well-behaved, and enjoy playing with each other. There are no other animals in the home, so they are enjoying getting all the attention. They are eating great, and there are no health issues (they did very well with their checkup at the vet). Chewie is going to be a big boy, he weighs a full pound more than Elita (who was the runt of the litter), but Elita is clearly the leader. Elita does some impressive jumps and flips when playing with their feather toy. Chewie got his name in part because he was always biting and chewing on fingers when we met him at the shelter, but he rarely bites anymore (although he does like bare toes). He has also become very cuddly. They enjoy hanging out together when everyone is sleeping at night. We love seeing all the unique positions and spots they decide to sleep in.
