Domino

Domino has been amazing! It was a very slow two months of her settling into the room and getting comfortable. But after about two and half months she came up for her first pets and has been getting more and more courage every day. She is very active at night so she makes sure to wake me up and ask for pets whenever she wants them. I decided to keep her name because for some reason it just didn’t feel right changing it. She has been eating and using the bathroom just fine and definitely loves her toys. Since I got her a cat tree she hasn’t been able to stay off the top. 

She has taken awhile to get out of hiding so I wasn’t able to introduce her to my roommate’s cat yet. She is going to be moving in two weeks so I am going to be rearranging the house a little to make it terror-proof before letting her out to explore. The great thing is that over the last few days she has shown interest in the door and rest of the house so I think the timing is all falling in line perfectly. So far she has been my little sleeping buddy and I can’t wait for her personality to bloom even more. For my first cat, there were times I questioned if the things I were doing were correct and it is so reassuring to see her love start to come out and trust. I’ll make sure to get some nice photos but attached some to the email. Don’t mind the double sided tape in the background, someone is a fearless little explorer so I had to set some boundaries.
