Dawn

We did give Constance a new name (Dawn). It felt fitting because she has been slowly coming out of her shell and growing more confident over time.

When she first arrived, she was very shy and spent most of her time in the closet where she felt safe. Over the past several months she has made really wonderful progress. She now comes out regularly, explores the bedroom and living room, and has even started playing with toys in the open. She also loves window watching. She’s still a cautious girl, but every week we see more curiosity and confidence from her.

She lives with our two other cats, Night and Light. The relationships are still evolving, but overall things are going well. She loves being around them and they spend a lot of time near her, which seems to make her feel comfortable. She’s eating well and generally doing well healthwise. She is grooming herself regularly now and looks much healthier and more relaxed than when she first arrived.

She is a very sweet and observant cat, and it has been really rewarding to watch her slowly trust us and explore her new home. We’re so grateful to Animal Haven for bringing her into our lives.
