Cosmo & Comet

No name changes! Ive always been a space lover so cosmo and comet were awesome names already :)

They’re adjusting to their new home really well, they’ve already found all their spots that they like to sleep in and play fight over. I don’t have any other animals so they have the house to themselves. They’re really well behaved towards eachother, no massive fights or anything and when they do ‘fight’ it’s usually just the normal big brother picking on little sister kinda stuff. But Comet always respects Cosmo if she tells him to back off, which is great!

No bad eating habits, fortunately. They really only seem to eat when they’re hungry, even when I’m putting out their wet food, they only will lick the gravy off if they’re both fairly full. Cosmo doesn’t eat as much as Comet does, though that’s been the case since day one.

In general, they haven’t been very vocal, until recently. Where Comet figured out if he comes up to me and meows, he can get my attention very easily and Cosmo has started to copy the behavior.

They do this a lot, where one of them figures out they can do/like something and the other is like “oh hey, I can do/like that thing too”. One example is, when we got them some toys, Comet seemed super uninterested in this one worm toy, until Cosmo realized how much she liked it, and then he was like “wait I love this thing too!” Or alternatively, we got them this little circular hammock they can curl up in and it took them like two months to actually use it, and it happened because Cosmo just, hopped in there and tried it, and less than an hour later Comet was in there when Cosmo left.

All in all, they’re adjusting very well, and we’re all very happy together
