Carbonara

Carbonara is doing really well. I did not change his name because I felt it would be unfair to have one name for some long and change it. I call him Carbs or Carby for short. He has adjusted really well to his new home and routine. My other three dogs love him, especially Andy (3 year old lab mix). Andy is always looking for him and checking on him when he’s sleeping. It’s very sweet. Carbonara seeks me out more when I leave the room or he can’t see me. For example, I was outside cleaning up the yard and he came outside and followed me around. He gets the zooomies when I get home and gets excited to eat. He is also starting to follow the other dogs when I am cooking and will beg right along with them. He will also sometimes jump on Jimbo (my biggest dog LOL) and chase after him a little. His personality is definitely showing more and more. He is also allowing me to hold him and snuggle more often. I am doing it slowly because at first he was not very receptive to being held. He also now loves to have his belly rubbed and will often flip on his back so I can rub his belly. He is eating and drinking well and showing more interest in foods I have (even though he can’t have some of them). He has been a great addition! Thank you for checking up on him. He is such a sweet old man!!
