Cabbage

Toffee, now Cabbage, named after the cat from the Japanese fable “If Cats Disappeared From the World”, (also cabbage in French is choux meaning also cute!) is doing well! She has acclimated well to her new home; she loves to sleep in the closet in her bed, hang out under the scratching tree, or play with her toys in the living room and running around our circular layout.  She has a passion for playing with her bells in the middle of the night.

Cabbage is still pretty shy and careful around us but she has now her schedule and she is letting us pet her a little, especially when treats are involved! She loves to steal food, she’s quite the thief, and she is quick to grab a little lick from any leftovers on our plates or on the kitchen counter, with a stop to her favourite place, the sink!

She finally discovered her meow and surprised us by meowing for the first time ever last week! 

We are so glad she is doing well, and we love having her in our family. There is a slight chance she might moving to France at some point in the next few years.
