Buddy

His name was changed to Buddy. He responds well to it.
He is adjusting very well. He is very happy to be with my family. He is still a little shy at first but warms quickly. He is very fond of my grandson, Louie, and was right from the beginning. Men with very deep gravity voices seem to put him off. He still won’t go near one of my son-in-law‘s who has this kind of voice. He feels very bad because he really loves cats. I’m hoping that will change in time. We are all trying to be very patient.
There are no other animals in the house.
He really eats well and enjoys his food. He seems to be really food oriented and protective of his meals but I’m hoping that’s because of being in the shelter and eventually will realize that no one to take his food. There seems to be no problem with health issues. He does have an appointment the beginning of September with the vet to be checked out.
He loves to play with feathers. He chases and chases and catches them and chews on them. He seems to love to wait in front of the windows or the doors and look out as a matter of fact, he’s made friends believe it or not with a squirrel that comes to the back door. They sit and look at one another and it’s so silly. It makes me smile.
As I said in the above, he loves my grandson, Louie!! As soon as he hears his voice, he comes running down the stairs and within a few minutes they’re playing together. Louie has never had a cat so he is completely fascinated. He is 18 and about to start college.
