Bagel

Indigo is now called Bagel and he is doing wonderfully! He has two brothers (we have a 10 y/o cat, and a 4 y/o dog) who he adores chasing around the house. His first three weeks were spent in quarantine per Animal Haven’s recommendations following potential giardia. But as soon as he was cleared with a clean stool sample he was introduced to his siblings and had a bit of adjustment period. He was super shy and would pretty much run the second anyone came near him. But he’s taken his time and is really opening up. He lets us hold him, brush him, and he loves to sit in laps. He’s absolutely still a little skittish but that’s understandable given what we know of his background. The three kids, as we call them, get on super well. It’s absolutely not perfect, but they are still getting to know each other but so far so good. All in all, Bagel’s right at home and a magnificent addition to our little family. And how could you not love that face?! Such a sweet cat: just has a lot of love to give!
