By adopting a new pet from The Animal Haven, you will gain a loving companion and make room at the shelter for another animal in need.

Cats & Kittens

Adoption Fees:

  • Kittens (up to 1 year old): $275
  • Two Kittens: $500
  • Adult Cats (1 to 8 years  old): $225
  • Two Adult Cats: $400
  • Senior cats (9+ years old): $200
  • Two Senior Cats: $360

Basic benefits of adopting a cat from The Animal Haven:

  • Consultation with our staff to select the right cat for your home.
  • We ensure that all cats are spayed and neutered.
  • We provide basic vaccinations, including rabies vaccinations for cats over three-months old and distemper vaccinations.
  • We provide the cat with complete medical evaluations and treatment for illnesses/injuries during his or her stay at the shelter.
  • If necessary, we provide our animals with extensive medical treatment.​
  • Testing for feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline AIDS (FIV).

Comparable costs for some of these services:

  • Basic veterinary exam: $90
  • Basic vaccinations: $85 to $150
  • Flea and tick treatment when the cats first come to the shelter: $20
  • FeLV and feline AIDS test: $75 to $105
  • Spay: $670
  • Neuter: $430

Turkey

Dogs & Puppies

Adoption Fees:

  • Puppies (up to 1 year old): $550
  • Adult Dogs (1 to 6 years old): $450
  • Senior Dogs (7+ years old): $350

Basic benefits of adopting a dog from The Animal Haven:

  • Consultation with our staff to select the right companion for your home.
  • We ensure that all dogs are spayed and neutered.
  • All dogs are provided with flea and tick treatment, and deworming.
  • We provide basic vaccinations, including rabies and distemper vaccinations.
  • We provide the dog with complete medical evaluations and treatment for illnesses/injuries during his or her stay at the shelter.
  • If necessary, we provide our animals with extensive medical treatment.
  • ​Bordetella vaccination.
  • Heartworm test and Heartgard treatment for all dogs 9 months or older.
